ROUTE OF THE SUN from Guayaquil – 6D/5N

Departure in the morning from Guayaquil (time to be assigned according to your flight schedule or hotel pick-up) heading toward the Santa Elena Peninsula. Traveling along a modern highway, we will arrive in Salinas to explore the peninsula and its attractions, including La Chocolatera or Sopladora del Mar, La Lobería, and El Morro viewpoint. Afternoon free to relax on the beach. Overnight stay in Salinas.

Morning free to enjoy the sun and the beaches of Salinas& Punta Centinela. At 2:00 PM, transfer north with a stop at the Olón Sanctuary, followed by arrival in Montañita in the afternoon. Evening free to experience this famous surf town, with its bars, exotic restaurants, and nightclubs for dancing until dawn. Overnight stay in Montañita.

08:00 – Depart along the Ruta del Sol toward Puerto López, a charming fishing village. At 09:15, board the boat for a visit to Isla de la Plata, also known as “Little Galápagos.” During the 1-hour navigation, from June to September, you may spot humpback whales. On the island, enjoy a guided walk along trails to observe a variety of migratory birds and stunning landscapes. A snack is included. Afterwards, free time for snorkeling, with the chance to see colorful fish, sea turtles, and more. Return to the mainland and continue along the coastal road at sunset, arriving in the city of Manta. Overnight stay in Manta.

09:00 – City tour of Manta and visit to the artisanal town of Montecristi, home of the famous Panama hats, and Ciudad Alfaro with its museum. Afterwards, transfer to Murciélago Beach to enjoy the sun and the sea. The rest of the afternoon is free at your leisure. The hotels are located approximately 1 km from the beach. Overnight stay in Manta.

10:00 – Transfer to the Manta Express terminal for a semi-private service to Guayaquil. 14:00 – Arrival in Guayaquil and transfer to the hotel via Manta Express. Afternoon free to relax and explore the city. Overnight stay in Guayaquil.
